Chandni Senavirathna biography

Amy (Kalki Koechlin), whose memories are marred by deep rooted scars from a traumatic childhood, returns from LA along with her NRI father. She befriends four wealthy, audacious and rebellious youngsters, who all come from dysfunctional urban families. A purposeless life and easy access to cash leads them deeper into the world of intoxication, cheap thrills and fast cars. But a chilling incident takes them a point of no return, and the characters find that their fight against the system is actually a fight against their inner demons.

Debutant director Bijoy Nambiar does a fine job with a stylish and compelling first film. Even though some of the characters aren’t fully fleshed out and there are some avoidable inter-cuts, the performances are powerful and there is never a dull moment in this crime drama.
